It has just been identified that the DNS (dynamic name server) record for the @ethosbasic.com email addresses has been faulty.
This means that all emails sent to that domain were being bounced back stating that mail.ethosbasic.com.ethosbasic.com was not found.
Apologies for this, the DNS record has been updated and should have propergated around the world within the next 48 hours. In the mean time any comments can be sent to support@ethos.tv.

21 Mar 2003 - String Bugfix Patch Released |

|
|
Two bugs have been located within the strings functions.
One is with the INSTR (in string) command which was unable to locate the last character of a string,
and the other was the VAL command which was only returing integer values instead of handling
floating point numbers and integers.
Both have been fixed and can a small patch can be downloaded from here.
The two files will be extracted into the ethos directory with your Program files, if you chose a different
location to install Ethos Basic then you must change the extraction point accordingly.
This can patch can also be downloaded from the System Updates
section of the file library.

At last version 1.1 has been released. Its been a long slog to get it out there, especially with moving the site to a new server and completely rewriting it.
Visit the new features section to review whats been added or download version 1.1 now.

Well at last the new sites gone live!!
There are still some pages that aren't 100% as we're aiming to include quite a few additional features to the site, specifically the user configuration.
The new version of the language will be uploaded tomorrow, and you can already examine the New Features section to review whats been added over the last 6 months.
We hope you like to new look and feel of the new site, and notice that there is now a wish list forum if you can think of things you'd like adding to ethos.

Unfortunately, as often happens at this time of year, I'm having to spend most of my waking moments on another project (Christmas, bah humbug!).
I was aiming to have V1.1 released within the next week or so but with my current work load and a visit to New York in the next fortnight I'm quite simply swamped.
I'm aiming to get as much done before I go away, and hopefully you'll have the latest version ready then, if not I'm afraid it'll be the middle of December.
