I must make a humble apology for the message board not working properly.
I've only just realised how extensive the fault was, I'd made a modification after a user had informed me of it not working correctly but had not investigated further.
With the development of the new version of the site I've been kind of neglecting the upkeep of the current one, all I can say is sorry about this I'll keep on top of it in future.

Users will be pleased to hear that we're *almost* ready to release ethos V1.1, this has a number of additional features.
These features include MUSIC files in MOD and XM formats, full file access, and a set of editor programs for the configuration files, tools and data viewers.
Its release will be preceded with a notification email to all users so watch your inbox.

05 Sep 2002 - Modifications to the site have begun |

Well we've been promising it for some time now, but at last the first modifications to the site have started being added and because of this, very shortly the license price will definately increase to £15.
Over the next month there will be a new version of the editor with additonal options, modifications to the registration system, an .EXE output option (for registered users) which will automatically download the runtime libraries and a major modification to the sites username / password system.
The site itself will be changing in its look and feel, losing its ''Refreshers'' colourful look for a more stylish and sleek display system.

You can download the latest version of ethos from CNET sites and we would ask you to please register your vote on our software. Apologies for any confusion as this newer version has just been released as V1.0 and promise that we'll not confuse the issue in the future when releasing version updates.

We've decided to extend the license price of £10 ($15) till the end of the month, this is primarily because we're experiencing some problems with our site, as you may notice the ad banners are no longer working, this is because our affiliate program shut down one of its servers without informing us, we're in the process of sorting this problem out now.
The other reason is that for the past week (and this week) we're shifting location and because of that a number of additional elements are not yet available on the site. We've developed a set of new viewers which can also edit sprites parameters (hotspots) and a number of other updates, these when they're on the site will only be available to ethos license holders.
